Celebrating The Bridge School’s Ofsted Report

The Bridge School has received high praise in its recent Ofsted report, recognised as “a happy and enjoyable place to learn.” Staff dedication and a focus on communication and reading were highlighted, with an emphasis on the school’s inclusive environment, ensuring every child thrives.

We are delighted to share the fantastic news that The Bridge School has once again been recognised for its commitment to providing an exceptional learning environment for all pupils. Following a recent Ofsted inspection, the school has been praised for its nurturing and inclusive atmosphere, as well as its strong focus on ensuring each child reaches their full potential.

Ofsted highlighted that “The Bridge School is a happy and enjoyable place to learn,” with strong relationships between staff and pupils being at the heart of its success. The school prides itself on creating an environment where “everyone is made to feel part of this inclusive school,” making it a place where every child can thrive.

The dedication of the staff was also praised, with the report noting that “staff are ambitious for all pupils and work hard to ensure that every child can be the best they can possibly be.” This ambition is reflected in the school’s curriculum, which focuses on developing key skills such as communication and reading, and caters to the individual needs of each pupil. The report further recognises that “developing communication skills and helping children learn to read sits at the heart of the curriculum.”

Feedback from parents and carers has been overwhelmingly positive, with one parent stating, “The staff are amazing and put so much effort into teaching. They make learning fun.” This reflects the collective efforts of parents, carers, pupils, and staff working together to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

The Headteacher, Andrew Seager, commented on the report, saying, “I am delighted that OFSTED were able to recognise the fantastic work that takes place at The Bridge each and every day. Parents, pupils and staff work together to ensure everyone is The Best they Can Be at all times. We look forward to ensuring our children have the best experiences that will prepare them for the next phase of their life.”

This recognition from Ofsted is a testament to the ongoing dedication of our staff, pupils, governors, and the wider community. It reflects the strong partnerships within the school and the determination to ensure that every pupil can achieve their best.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support The Bridge School. Together, we will continue to build on this success and make sure that every child has the best possible start to their future.
