At The Bridge School, we are working towards raising £5,000 to refurbish our sensory rooms in 2026. These spaces play a vital role in supporting our pupils’ wellbeing, providing calm, safe environments where children can regulate, relax, and feel ready to learn.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our families and wider community, we are already making fantastic progress towards this goal.
With the fabulous support of our families, we have raised over £500 through recent fundraising efforts. Every contribution brings us one step closer to enhancing these important spaces for our pupils.
A huge thank you goes to Anne Brown, who generously donated £111 towards the refurbishment. Anne showed wonderful creativity and kindness by designing and selling her own Christmas cards and decorations, with all profits donated to The Bridge School. Our pupils were absolutely over the moon, and it was a proud moment for everyone — especially Deputy Headteacher Miss Rowley, who had the pleasure of collecting the cheque.
We were also delighted to receive a very generous £1,000 donation from the Goldieslie Masonic Lodge on 15th December. This incredible contribution has given our fundraising a significant boost. The cheque was presented by Alex Yip, a member of the Masonic Lodge, and gratefully received by Headteacher Andy Seager and Local Academy Member Daphne Hall.
Our sensory rooms are essential in helping pupils feel calm, confident, and supported throughout the school day. We are extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed so far — your generosity is already making a real difference.
We’ll continue to share updates as we work towards our £5,000 target. Please follow The Bridge School on our social media channels to keep up to date with our fundraising progress and future events.
